I think with the DD ([link]) it may be time for me to update the journal.  A HUGE thank you to `CreativeJenn for suggesting it, and `WillowXD for featuring it!  I really appreciate it you guys!  It's a great thing to wake up to, especially today when I was feeling extra unmotivated.

Also, thank you to everyone who leaves a comment, who favs my work, or watches me!  I'll try my best to answer any questions you may have.  If I'm unable to say thank you to each of you, please know that I really do appreciate that you for took the time to stop by my page and view my work.

Some news as well since my last post.

I recently was hired on as a temp Concept Artist for WB Games.  I'll be working from home with their Turbine studio, doing concept art for their games.  I've been there about a month so far and I love it.  Because I have a steady 8hr a day job at the moment, I'm planning on spending a lot of my time in the future doing some personal work and studies, and cutting back on the freelance work.

What does that means for potential clients? I'd still like to encourage you to contact me.  If I'm unavailable, I know a ton of other artists who I'd be happy to recommend you to.
edit: I've been giving this a lot of thought, and I've decided that for the next few months I will not be taking on work for any new clients.  I need to take the time to rediscover my own personal drive for making art (sounds corny, but it's true), and I have a lot of things I should practice that I keep putting off.

Also, my first published D&D work came out!  It's in the Book of Vile Darkness (the Player's Book part).  I am so excited to be part of it- it's like a childhood dream come true.  I've probably looked through it a million times.   There is a lot of great art in there.  It's probably worth buying for the art alone (though I wish I had more time to play D&D).

I think this has been a good year for me.  I feel like my art has improved a ton, and I can only hope it does more so next year.  I hesitate to make a bunch of goals for the new year other than studying my butt off and improving my concept art portfolio, because I'm so unsure where this year will take me!
